Corporate Matching

Many companies provide corporate matching funds to nonprofits such as Love In the Name of Christ. This is an easy way for you to double your donation. To find out if your employer has an employee matching program contact your Human Resources department. Love INC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and meets federal eligibility for corporate matching programs.

Gifts of Stocks and Other Assets
You can make a donation to Love INC using stocks or appreciated assets, designate Love INC as beneficiary of a life insurance policy or IRA, or establish a trust with the recipient being Love INC. You can also establish a charitable annuity to insure a steady stream of income for life.

Planned Giving
Gifts-by-will are one of the simplest types of planned gifts and may be changed at any time. Charitable gifts-by-will reduce estate taxes while providing a larger gift than many individuals are able to make during their lifetime.

Gifts may be designated as unrestricted so they can be used where they are most needed, or you can designate your gift toward a specific area of interest if you wish. The following sample language may be helpful to you and your attorney in drafting your bequests to Love INC:

Specific bequest:  "I give, devise, and bequeath $_______ to Love INC of Clay County, 2050 Plumbers Way, Suite 160, Liberty, MO, for its corporate uses and purposes."

Percentage of estate: "I give, devise and bequeath _________ percent of my estate to Love INC of Clay County, 2050 Plumbers Way, Suite 160, Liberty MO, for its corporate uses and purposes."

United Way Giving

Many workplaces participate in annual United Way drives, raising funds for local organizations. Did you know that you have the option of choosing any 501(c)3 nonprofit organization for your designated donations, whether the organization is a part of United Way or not?

You can designate Love In the Name of Christ of Clay County for your United Way giving.

Your donation is automatically deducted from your paycheck every month. Just fill out section B. Specific Organization and write Love In the Name of Christ of Clay County on the "name of agency" line, 2050 Plumbers Way, Ste. 160, Liberty, Missouri and leave the "agency code" blank. Don't forget to fill-in the amount you want to give.

Another way you can help is by donating items for Love INC clients, such as diapers or non perishable food or donate your gently used items to the Thrift Store.
